WALK ON WATER MINISTRIES PRESENTS
Global immersion encounters aiming to bridge gaps between cultural, spiritual and intergenerational intersections while upholding the core pillars of leadership, education, advocacy and discourse (LEAD).
We will depart, Thursday, March 08 (arriving Friday, March 09) and sojourn to what has historically been called “The Holy Land” through Sunday, March 18, exploring narratives from Israeli and Palestinian communities.
We will arrive in Tel Aviv, travel to Jerusalem, Bethlehem and other sacred sites to engage dialogue on human rights, social justice, faith, education, and the socio-political landscape of the region. We will meet with educators, student scholars, human rights advocates, artists, families, women cooperatives, and ecumenical religious leaders from the region.
The trip will be rigorous with lots of walking and navigating challenging terrain. This should be considered when discerning if this experience is for you. Travel insurance will be required and that is an additional cost. Waivers will be required as well.
A curriculum will be provided along with recommended reading, articles, and group dialogue/orientation in preparing for the spring journey.
The all inclusive journey will cost $1,995 (based on double occupancy), all inclusive (travel, housing, most meals, ground transportation, interpreters, and programming). This rate is based on Washington, DC as group departure city.
